Alicante Cruise Port: Preparing for Its Grand Opening
Alicante Cruise Port is nearing a significant milestone as it prepares to reopen with a series of major upgrades. Central to these enhancements is a new boarding bridge, currently undergoing test procedures, designed to elevate the cruise guest experience while meeting the highest Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
The terminal itself has been completely revamped, featuring a modern and upgraded interior design. This transformation includes a renewed air conditioning system, updated electrical and water systems, and a refreshed glass façade and windows, all contributing to a more welcoming and comfortable environment for passengers.
Sustainability has been a key focus, with the installation of solar panels to reduce the port’s carbon footprint and support global environmental goals. Additionally, new x-ray machines, metal arch detectors, and improvements to the lift, roof, mechanical ladder, and flooring have been added, enhancing both security and functionality.
Alicante Cruise Port is now poised to offer a modern, sustainable, and secure gateway for cruise passengers, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable journey from start to finish.
